Who We Are . . .

KEVIN J. HILDEBRAND is Associate Kantor at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. He is an experienced teacher of children and adults, as well as frequent recitalist and hymn festival presenter. He has written and taught for the LCMS Commission on Worship. As an active composer, his works are published by Concordia Publishing House and MorningStar Music Publishers.

ARTHUR A. JUST JR. is Dean of the Chapel, Co-Director of The Good Shepherd Institute, and Professor of Exegetical Theology at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. He is also a member of the Lectionary Committee of the LCMS Lutheran Hymnal Project and is the author of The Ongoing Feast, the Concordia Commentary on Luke, and the Lukan volume of the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture.

JOHN T. PLESS is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Missions and Director of Field Education at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. He is a member of the Agenda Committee of the LCMS Lutheran Hymnal Project and the Board for Congregational Services of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. He is the book review editor for Logia: A Journal of Lutheran Theology. Prior to coming to Fort Wayne he served as campus pastor at University Lutheran Chapel, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

RICHARD C. RESCH is Kantor of Concordia Theological Seminary and of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Co-Director of The Good Shepherd Institute, and the Sacred Music Professor for the Seminary. He is a member of the Hymnal Committee for the LCMS Lutheran Hymnal Project.

CONSTANCE R. SEDDON is editor of the Web site of The Good Shepherd Institute. She was senior staff editor of the IBM Systems Journal, IBM Corporation, NY, before retiring in 2003. From 1993 to 2007 she has served on the board of the American Lutheran Publicity Bureau, where she provided publishing and editorial services and chaired the committee for the publication of tracts. She is editor of the newsletter De Trinitate of the Society of the Holy Trinity, an association of Lutheran pastors. Since retirement she resides in St. Louis, MO, where she now also edits the programs for Concordia Seminary's Bach at the Sem concert series.

DANIEL ZAGER is Head of the Sibley Music Library and Associate Professor of Music at the Eastman School of Music, where he teaches in the areas of sacred music and musicology. Previously he was Music Librarian and Adjunct Associate Professor of Music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Associate Professor of Music at Concordia University, River Forest; and Conservatory Librarian and Lecturer in Musicology at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He holds the Ph.D. degree in musicology from the University of Minnesota. He is editor of the annual proceedings of The Good Shepherd Institute at Concordia Theological Seminary.
